Broome Co Peace Action and BC Veterans for Peace are sponsoring an exhibit of portraits by Robert Shetterly at the Broome County Public Library, Decker Room, Oct 1-15th Mon-Thurs 9 am- 8 pm and Fri. Sat. 9 am-5 pm. Admission is free.
Shetterly had painted the portraits of famous people in history such as Ella Baker, Dorothy Day, Eugene V Debs, Frederick Douglass Cesar Chavez, Harry Hay, John Lewis, Paul Robeson, and Lily Yeh, among others.
