Building Trauma-Sensitive Classrooms

The next training in the series from the Southern Tier Special Ed Task Force is: Reaching and Teaching: Building Trauma-Sensitive Classrooms, Wednesday, December 11, 2019, 9:30 am – 11:30 am . Presenter: SUE JONES NYS Certified Educator in Early Childhood – Grade 6; Students with Disabilities Birth- Grade 6, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Trainer, Life Space Crisis Intervention Trainer, Adjunct Lecturer with Binghamton University and Trauma-informed Practices Coach for BroomeTioga BOCES.

The Southern Tier Special Education Task Force covers the counties of Broome, Tioga, Chenango, Otsego, Tompkins, Chemung, Cortland, Otsego and Delaware and is a Regional Affiliate of the NYS Special Education Task Force. The Mission of the Task Force is to foster communication and collaboration among parents and schools staff to improve outcomes for students with disabilities.
