Glenda Blake, an artist at the Cooperative Gallery 213, died May 12th, 2020. “She contributed a great deal to the gallery,” fellow artists recalled. “She dragged us into the world of online scheduling and created a style guide to create consistency and professionalism at the gallery.”
“I knew her in the early days of the Women’s Center where her graphic capabilities were put to good use on the feminist newspaper, Hera and our annual fundraiser, the WonderWoman Festival. She also wrote and illustrated a women’s health series for the Women’s Center,” said Peg Johnston.
Her obit is here.
