Cranberry Coffeehouse is back with a Saturday, January 14 concert by two of our favorite performers — John Kirk and Trish Miller! They will play fiery fiddle tunes, sing folk songs, and display fancy footwork, a concert for audiences of all ages. John’s lyric voice, good sense of humor, and versatile instrumental skills have earned him widespread recognition in folk and traditional music circles. On fiddle, mandolin and several other instruments, he has performed on stages from Carnegie Hall to mountain campfire gatherings. Trish Miller is known for her clogging, guitar and banjo. Both call square dances and have taught folk music and dance programs for more than two decades together. Please note that this is the 2nd Saturday of January. The Cranberry will resume its traditional 3rd Saturday schedule in February, with the Iranian songwriter and composer, Martin Shamoonpour. Cranberry Coffeehouse encourages musicians, vocalists, story-tellers and dancers of all ages and skill levels to share their talents during the Middle Set. Middle set performances are limited to five minutes each. Masking is encouraged as a kindness to protect us all. |
