Harmony Club showcases Local Talent

This is your chance to hear the best young musicians in the Southern Tier at a recital sponsored by the Harmony Club of Binghamton. Six performers, chosen by a panel of judges from a field of top, talented high school seniors, will be showcased at a June 5 recital, at 7 p.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 1 Aquinas St., Binghamton. The concert is open to the public, free of charge. A dessert reception follows the recital.
Performers include: Peter Jensen, percussion… John and Dorothy Engstrom Award;
Teresa Deskur, recorder….Harmony Club Award;
Lauren McCarthy, alto saxophone…Harmony Club Award;
Matthew Goodheart, tenor….Cheryl Labban Award;
Cassandra Pinataro, soprano….Cheryl Labban Award;
Miranda Werner, violin….Hannah W. Thomas Founders Award.
