The Bad Sleep Well

The Bad Sleep Well is Akira Kurosawa’s scathing blend of Hamlet & American film noir.
Inspired in part by the international Lockheed bribery scandals of the late 1950’s, a young executive hunts down his father’s killer exposing the corrupt boardrooms of post war Japan. The Bad Sleep Well continues the legendary collaboration with actor Toshiro Mifune. A cinephile’s ‘must see’!
