Vote Run Lead is bringing candidate training to the Southern Tier to host a nonpartisan political leadership training for women right here in Binghamton on Friday, May 13 and Saturday, May 14th. Women who are thinking about running in the future are welcome. Also, for the first time, training for campaign managers. Although focused on NYS, Pennsylvania residents and other from out of state are welcome. The sessions are free.Vote Run Lead is an organization tirelessly dedicated to helping women run for office, and win, with local NY leaders including Senator Samra Brouk, Representative Rodneyse Bichotte, our own Binghamton City Council member Angela Riley! Launched in 2014, Vote Run Lead has reached tens of thousands of women — nearly 60% of whom are women of color, and 1 of 5 of whom are from rural America.
On Friday night, May 13 and from 9-4 on Saturday, May 14th, Vote Run Lead will host the training session at the Holiday Inn.
