Climate Justice Countdown

So many in our communities are poor and struggling. And it’s not by accident. We are being deliberately exploited and manipulated for the benefit of the 1%. Our bodies are being exploited for cheap labor, and our land is being destroyed as they extract resources to make energy, poisoning our water and our air and our soil and our bodies in the process.

It doesn’t have to be this way.

We can take control of our health and our land. By harnessing the energy of the sun and the wind, our communities can interrupt the cycle of harm and exploitation. We can take control of our own energy production, creating much needed jobs for our communities, and ensuring a more equitable distribution of resources in the process. One that doesn’t threaten the very future of our existence on this planet.

Join us next Tuesday, April 9, when we rally in Albany for the Climate & Community Protection Act, to demand our elected officials put us on the path toward a sustainable future.
